In the spirit of volunteerism, please join the AmeriCorps team of Habitat for Humanity of East King County in a day of service this Martin Luther King Jr. Day. On January 18th, 2010 we invite you to work on Nature’s Last Stand; a family-run organic farm in Fall City, Washington.

Please bring your friends and family (children must be 12 years of age or older) to participate.

*Nature's Last Stand is Certified Organic by the Washington State Department of Agriculture. What they do not grow is bought from other organic farmers or producers. Nature's Last Stand is committed to finding the best tasting food from places and people who also steward the land and care for the creatures who offer their bounty.

 

Please read following prior to registering to volunteer at Nature's Last Stand:

  

-          Please expect to stay the full shift.

 

-          Please wear work-appropriate clothing.

 

-          You can find driving directions to Nature's Last Stand here.

 

-           Any volunteer wanting their hours verified by Habitat for any reason must contact the Volunteer Coordinator for approval prior to volunteering. The Individual Volunteer Coordinator can be reached at 425 869 6007 ext 232, scheduleco@habitatekc.org

 

-         If you waitlist for this event, do not show up unless you receive an email stating that you are confirmed. Should someone cancel and space becomes available, you will automatically receive this email.
